Yung Wing graduates from Yale, first Chinese graduate in the United States

Yung Wing become the first Chinese person to graduate from college in the United States when he is awarded his degree at Yale University. He had been one of the first three Chinese students to come to the country in 1850 and had attended the Monson School in Massachusetts. (By John Osborne)
