HENDERSON COUNTY, situated in the northwesterly part of Kentucky, with Ohio river on the north, and Green river on the east. Area, 725 square miles. Face of the country, hilly; soil, fertile. Seat of justice, Henderson. Pop. in 1810, 4,703; in 1820, 5,714; in 1830, 6,659; in 1840, 9,548; in 1850, 12,171.
