A steamship is caught in an hurricane on Lake Pontchartrain and all ten people aboard are lost.

The small steamship Main was caught in a hurricane on Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana, capsized, and sank.  All aboard, six crewmen and four passengers were drowned.  (By John Osborne)
