    30th. Went over to Mrs. Wallace's in the rain. Young ladies very pleasant; also young Mr. W - he had lately been kicked by a horse. Left - rode in the rain; was wet; went up to bro' P's. Was much cheered by finding letters from Ma & Mill & from H.B.R.! My Newspapers were also interesting.
