    FEMALE MEDICAL COLLEGE

Somebody has sent us the third annual announcement and catalogue of students in the new Female Medical College of Pennsylvania, located in Philadelphia. It is a document of some interest. The announcement part contains a good argument in favor of females preparing themselves for the profession of medicine. There were fifty-two students in attendance at the last term, of whom eight graduated and received diplomas. The next term will commence on the 13th of September and terminate on the 31st of January, 1853. We have no doubt that this new medical college will be a flourishing and important institution.
