THE NEW-ORLEANS EPIDEMIC. – The report of the Howard Association of New-Orleans states that they attended to 3,414 cases of yellow fever during the recent season, 1,069 of whom were Germans, 1,485 Irish, and 409 natives of the United States; 771 died, and the remaining 2,643 were discharged cured. The amount of money expended was $45,000. It made no appeals to foreign aid, but received from the liberality of the citizens of New-Orleans alone enough for all practical purposes. The Managers return their thanks to those non-resident friends from whom offers of assistance were received, and acknowledges the receipt of contributions from many distant points.
