Argentine Confederation and breakaway province of Buenos Aires agree to a reunification

Agreement was reached between the Argentine Confederation and the breakaway province of Buenos Aires, under a revision of the 1853 Constitution, to reunite and end years of conflict.  This accord did not last however and civil war again broke out in the following few years.  (By John Osborne)
