Mediterranean gales play havoc with the Spanish fleet off the Moroccan coast

Powerful eastern Mediterranean gales between Gibraltar and the Moroccan coast created havoc amongst the Spanish naval vessels then engaged in supporting the Spanish invasion of Morocco.  Two naval steamships were sunk and many other smaller craft were driven ashore.  (By John Osborne)
