Highway Robbery in Placer County.
IOWA HILL., February 20, 1860.
C. P. Richardson, of Wisconsin Hill, was attacked by four men on the Yankee Jim’s road last night, about 9 o’clock, and robbed of $1,070. In the affray he was shot through the left hand, and in return he thinks he shot one of the robbers in the breast. Richardson was on his way to Carson Valley.
