The Delaware Opposition Party Convention meets to select delegates for Chicago

The Opposition Party of the state of Delaware met in Dover to select delegates for the Republican Convention in Chicago.  The meeting also pronounced itself for the Union, against the extension of slavery into the territories, and for the Homestead Bill.  (By John Osborne)
