In Kansas, tornadoes destroy homes and buildings

A cell of tornadoes passed down the Blue Valley in Kansas, destroying a large number of homes and buildings.  At Marysville, in Marshall County, the town itself was struck.  The largest building completely destroyed there held the offices of the Democrat Platform newspaper, which despite its name supported the Republican Party.  (By John Osborne)
