LOOK OUT FOR ILLEGAL VOTES! – The Chicago Tribune of yesterday says:

Within a few weeks past not less than 400 Irish laborers have gone from Northern Illinois to work on the Extension North Western Railroad. They are bonafids laborers and were sent into Wisconsin for a legitimate purpose by the contractors. But they are not citizens of Wisconsin, and have no right to vote there. They have been in the State only a few weeks, and they have no business to vote in Wisconsin. But they most certainly will vote there, if not closely watched and vigorously challenged.

Our friends in the Third District must be on the look-out for these bogus votes. – Prompt challenging and the presence of a good Republican crowd at every poll, will effectually scare off all illegal voters.
