The Prince of Wales and his party arrived from Albany, New York in the afternoon and lodged at the Revere House. The next day was declared a holiday in Boston. The Prince met 100 year-old Ralph Farnham, the last living survivor of the Battle of Bunker Hill in the morning, visited the State House surrounded by crowds in the afternoon, and in the evening attended his last ball of many in North America. The next day he visited Cambridge and Harvard and left the following day for Portland, Maine and his last stop before departing the continent. (By John Osborne)
