In baseball, two Brooklyn clubs fight out a close game, 17-15

In cold fall weather, two of the largest baseball clubs in Brooklyn, the Atlantics and the Eckford Club, met for a match at the Eckford Ground.  Despite the chill, five thousand spectators watched the visitors win by a score of 17 to 15.  (By John Osborne)
