PUBLIC MEETING.
FRIDAY, June 25.
Upon the announcement of the death of Mr. JAMES H. KENNEDY, the citizens of the town assembled at the Court House, and being informed that the body of the deceased was about to be removed to Hagerstown, Md., his late residence, they resolved, as a mark of respect, to be present in procession at the removal of the body, and to meet again in the evening, at 8 o’clock, for further consideration of the subject. The meeting then adjourned to attend the remains of the deceased, in their removal from town.
