In Warren, Illinois, a early morning fire burns out nine buildings in the commercial district of the town

An early morning fire, starting at around two a.m., destroyed a number of frame buildings in the central business area of Warren, Illinois.  Stores and merchants premises were completely burned out with the damage estimated as high as $20,000.  No injuries were reported.  (By John Osborne)
