Trial begins in important Lincoln legal case

Trial begins in the "Effie Alton" case, one of Abraham Lincoln's most important courtroom experiences.  The future president represents an Illinois bridge company in a case resulting from a tragic steamboat accident.  The trial will end with a hung jury.  (By Matthew Pinsker)
