CAMBRIA COUNTY, situated in the central part of Pennsylvania, and drained by Connemaugh river. Area, 720 square miles. Face of the country hilly and rocky, soil generally of fair quality. Seat of justice, Ebesnburgh. Pop. in 1820, 3,287; in 1830, 7,079; in 1840, 11,250; in 1850, 17,773.
