CHARLOTTE COUNTY, situated in the southerly part of Virginia, on the northeast side of Staunton river. Area 600 square miles; surface pleasantly variegated by hill and dale; soil excellent and well watered. Seat of justice, Marysville, or Charlotte Court House.
