BRUNSWICK COUNTY, situated on the south boundary of Virginia, with Nottaway river on the northeast.  Area, 676 square miles. The face of the county is gradually undulating, and the soil of a middling quality.  Seat of justice, Lawrenceville.  Pop. in 1820, 16,687; in 1830, 15,767; in 1840, 14,346; in 1850, 13,994.  (Fanning's, 1853)
