CARROLL COUNTY, situated toward the northwest part of Indiana, and traversed by the Wabash river. Area, 380 square miles. Seat of justice, Delphi. Pop. in 1830, 1,614; in 1840, 7,819; in 1850, 11,015. (Fanning's, 1853)
