Entire legislatures of Kentucky and Tennessee leave Louisville, Kentucky for Cincinatti, Ohio

The new Louisville and Nashville Railroad was seen as a significant opening up of the entire Ohio River Valley and the entire state legislatures of Kentucky and Tennessee had traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for a celebratory dinner in the Masonic Hall.  The next evening the group, numbering around five hundred, boarded the steamboat Jacob Traner and sailed up the river for their invited visit to Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio.  (By John Osborne)
