Two passengers die when a river boat burns on the Arkansas River

The paddle steamer Hickman took fire and quickly burned on the Arkansas River eighteen miles below Little Rock, Arkansas.  Two passengers were killed and the steamer completely destroyed.  (By John Osborne)
