Enos, Jacob D.

Jacob D. Enos was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania around 1844 and served in the United States Colored Troops during the Civil War. According to his service records, Enos worked as a barber before the war. In December 1863 Enos joined Company A of the 3rd USCT in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Officers promoted Enos to Quartermaster Sergeant on August 9, 1865. Enos was mustered out in Jacksonville, Florida on October 31, 1865. (By Don Sailer)
