Johnson, Isaac

Isaac Johnson was born in Anne Arundel County, Maryland around 1829 and served in the United States Colored Troops during the Civil War. According to Johnson’s service records, he worked as a laborer before the war. In April 1865 Johnson was drafted in Maryland and joined Company B of the 41st USCT. While in Edinburg, Texas in late September 1865, Johnson was transferred to Company G. Johnson’s military service ended on December 10, 1865. (By Don Sailer)
