CRAWFORD COUNTY, situated toward the north part of Ohio, and drained by Sandusky river. Area, 590 square miles. Face of the country generally flat, containing several large prairies or swamps. Seat of justice, Bucyrus. Pop. in 1830, 4,791; in 1840, 13,152; 1850, 18,177.
