GREENE COUNTY, situated toward the southwesterly part of Ohio, and traversed by Little Miami and Mad rivers. Area, 400 square miles. Face of the country pleasantly diversified; soil fertile, and well cultivated. Seat of justice, Xenia. Pop. in 1830, 14,801; in 1840, 17,528; in 1850, 22,946.
