HABERSHAM COUNTY, situated on the northeasterly boundary of Georgia, and traversed by Chattahoochee river. Area, 760 square miles. Face of the country hilly, and the eastern part is traversed by the Blue Ridge. Seat of justice, Clarksville. Pop. in 1820, 3,171; in 1830, 10,648; in 1840, 7,961; in 1850, 8,895.
