WARE COUNTY, situated on the south boundary of Georgia, and traversed by Santilla river. Area, 3,440 square miles. Face of the country, level, being partly covered by Okefinoke swamp. Seat of justice, Waresnborough. Pop. in 1830, 1,885; in 1840, 2,323; in 1850, 3,888.
