DEARBORN COUNTY, situated on the easterly boundary of Indiana, on the northwesterly side of Ohio river. Area, 380 square miles. Face of the country rough and hilly; soil generally fertile. Seat of justice, Lawrenceville. Pop. in 1820, 11,468; in 1830, 13,974; in 1840, 19,327; in 1850, 20,165.
