HENDRICKS COUNTY, situated near the centre of Indiana, and watered by Eel river, and White Lick and Mud creeks. The surface of the county is undulating, and soil productive. Area, about 400 square miles. Pop. in 1840, 11,264; in 1850, 14,083.
