BOURBON COUNTY, situated in the northern of Kentucky, between Kentucky and Licking rivers. Length, 16 miles; mean breadth, 11; with an area 176 square miles. The face of the country is somewhat hilly, and the soil fertile and well cultivated. Seat of justice, Paris. Pop. in 1830, 18,434; in 1840, 14,478; in 1850, 14,466.
