BIBB COUNTY, in the central part of Alabama, and traversed by Cahawba river, with Coosa river on the east. Length, 45 ms. ; mean width, 25; extending over an area of 1,100 square miles. Seat of justice, Centreville. Pop. in 1820, 3,676; in 1830, 6,305; in 1840, 8,284; in 1850, 9,969.
