WARREN COUNTY, situated in the east part of New York, with Lake George on the east, and Schroon lake at the north, and traversed by Hudson river. Area, 912 square miles. Face of the country, mountainous and hilly; soil, rocky and barren. Seat of justice, Caldwell. Pop. in 1810, 7,565; in 1820, 9,453; in 1830, 11,795; in 1840, 13,422; in 1850, 12,425.
