The newly completed three-quarter mile railroad bridge across the Susquehanna River at Havre De Grace, Maryland, built at a cost on one and half million dollars, now madepossible an uninterupted journey from Philadelphia to Washington, DC on the the Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore Railroad.
