Adams County, Indiana, 1857
ADAMS COUNTY, on the east side of Indiana. Watered by Wabash and St. Mary's rivers, and contains 336 square miles. Courts are held at Decatur. Pop. in 1840, 2,264; in 1850, 5,797. (Fanning's, 1853)
