HAMILTON COUNTY, situated in the central part of Indiana, and traversed by west fork of White river. Area, 400 square miles. Seat of justice, Noblesville. Pop. in 1830, 1,757; in 1840, 9,855; in 1850, 12,683. (Fanning's, 1853)
