Gotwalts, Jacob V.

Jacob V. Gotwalts, born on May 13, 1840 in Lower Providence Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, entered Dickinson in 1856 pursuing a career as an attorney. He later entered the Montgomery County bar in 1867, acted as the District Attorney for the county from 1875 to 1878, and was a candidate for state senate. He married Henrietta Royer in 1873, lived in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and died on January 6, 1921. (By Brandon Rothenberg)
