Philadelphia's boat clubs, the "Schuylkill Navy," holds its annual review on the Schuylkill River.

The annual review of the "Schuylkill Navy," the consortium of Philadelphia boat clubs, held its annual review on the Schuykill River opposite Fairmount, just north of Philadelphia.  The assembled boats, under the gathering's commodore, Charles Vezin, made there way downstream as far as the city's Girard Street Bridge and then returned.  The annual review helped ready the "navy" for its regatta days in June.  (By John Osborne)
