Moncure Conway publishes "The Rejected Stone" arguing for emancipation

With the help of Charles Sumner, the Boston publisher Walker, Wise and Company published Conway's The Rejected Stone. In this book Conway dictated a forceful argument detailing the necessity of emancipation.   (By Blake Dickinson)
