21. Walked out with Banate: he reminds me of myself a year or so ago, in his skepticisms. Had a most delightful conversation with Sister Stonestreet. O what a charming and kind woman she is! Was up at bro' B's - introduced to Miss L. Johnson. Don't see how Newman cd. like her. Judge Peters went off to-day. Miss Martha & I were going to Mrs. Wooltons: but finding a house-ful - didn't. So we went on down to Mr. S.'s. I std. there at Bro B's. all night.
