Entire legislatures of Kentucky and Tennessee gather in Louisville, Kentucky

The new Louisville and Nashville Railroad was seen as a significant opening up of the entire Ohio River Valley and the entire state legislatures of Kentucky and Tennessee traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for a celebratory dinner in the Mason's Hall.  Three days earlier, the mayor and leading citizens of Cincinnati had invited the entire party to visit their city in further celebration. This visit took place on January 26.  (By John Osborne)
