The Prince of Wales resumes his American tour, visiting St. Louis, Missouri

-
After a few days of rest and relaxation in the countryside around Dwight Station in Livingston County, Illinois, the royal touring party traveled by train to Alton, Illinois and there took the ferry to St. Louis.  They arrived in the early evening and spent the next day in the city, touring the state fair and inaugurating the Western Academy of Arts.  The following day it was on to Cincinnati, Ohio by special train.
