Prince Albert and his party left St. Louis by train and arrived the next day, around noon, in Cincinnati, Ohio. That evening he was hosted at a grand ball held in Pike's Opera House and spent the night at the Barnet House Hotel. He attended services on the Sunday and left on Monday morning by train for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, arriving later that day. (By John Osborne)
