ADAMS COUNTY, on the east side of Indiana. Watered by Wabash and St. Mary's rivers, and contains 336 square miles. Courts are held at Decatur. Pop. in 1840, 2,264; in 1850, 5,797.

WILKINSON COUNTY, situated In the central part of Georgia, with Oconee river on the northeast. Seat of justice, Irwinton. Pop. in 1810, 2,154; in 1820, 6,992; in 1830, 6,513; in 1840, 6,842; in 1850, 8,212.
