William Elisha Stoker is born in Chambers County, Alabama

William Stoker was born in Chambers county, Alabama sometime in 1837. His parents, Arnold and Rebecca Leanders Jones Stoker, were married in Oglethorpe county, Georgia, in 1826. Yet after William’s father died in 1841, his mother remarried and their family moved to Troup county, Georgia. (By Don Sailer)
