DOUGLAS AND VAN BUREN. – The Tribune stated yesterday that Senator DOUGLAS had been spending a few days with Ex-President VAN BUREN, at Lindenwold, and added in a sly “aside,” that Prince JOHN was not of the party. But Lindenwold is one of the last places in the world that the Illinois Senator would think of visiting; he and the Ex-President, who inhabits that secluded village, do not row in the same boat. They belong to opposite parties, and would probably derive but small pleasure from the society of each other. Mr. DOUGLAS is at present at the Everett House, in this City, where he arrived Tuesday morning. He was never at Lindenwold, and we believe has not seen Ex-President VAN BUREN in a good many years.
