Four Harpers Ferry raiders hanged in Charlestown, Virginia

Virginia executed four of John Brown's Harpers Ferry raiders December 16, 1859 in Charlestown.  Shields Green died with John A. Copeland in the morning, while John E. Cook and Edwin Coppoc were hanged in the afternoon.  (By John Osborne)
