The Prince of Wales spends twenty-four hours in Baltimore

After a three day visit to Washington and a short visit to Richmond, Virginia, the Prince of Wales and his party traveled by rail to Baltimore and arrived there around 8 p.m.   He spent the night there, toured the public buildings of the city with the mayor the next morning and left again by train for his visit to Philadelphia.  He reached Philadelphia in the early evening and took rooms in the Continental Hotel.   (By John Osborne)
