Washington, February 4, 1864
My dear Sir:
Yours of Jan. 30th was received four days ago; and since then the address mentioned has arrived-- Thank you for it. I send herewith the manuscript of my remarks at Gettysburg, which, with my note to you of Nov. 20th you are at liberty to use for the benefit of our soldiers, as you have requested--
